As Mental Health Awareness Month and Teacher Appreciation Week overlap, we want to honor the amazing Gwinnett County teachers who are making a positive impact each day. Unfortunately, research from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation has revealed that nearly half of all teachers live with high daily stress—something that can have detrimental effects on their health, sleep, quality of life and teaching performance alike, in addition to straining students’ social adjustment and academic performance.
